New Jersey Nets power forward Kris Humphries has been hearing it from the fans all season. Whenever the Nets go on the road, whenever he touches the ball.. BOOO! Opposing fans have been mercilessly heckling Humphries ever since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from him in October.
The booing started during the preseason at Madison Square Garden and could still be heard on Monday night when the Nets edged the Knicks, 100-92.
Shortly after Humphries and Kardashian announced their plans to divorce, Forbes magazine named Humphries as the most disliked player in the NBA. But there's one rising star who isn't okay with booing Humphries.

Humpries, who is averaging a double-double this season, went on the Scott Van Pelt Show on Tuesday and talked about his conversation with the NBA's new sensation following the game on Monday.
"I saw him in the tunnel outside the locker room after the game. I've kind of known him since his rookie year because we did an autograph signing thing in L.A. at the All-Star Game last year," he said. "He's a really nice guy and he just said, 'I don't know why they boo you, but I think it's crap and you're playing really well.' That was nice of him to say. He's a really nice guy, a competitor and it's nice to see great things happen for nice people."
The 27-year-old Humphries talked about the negative energy he receives on the road, saying that he loves "a hostile environment" and that "no one is supposed to cheer for you on the road."
Even though the boos may not stop, the numbers that the Nets' big man has been putting up don't seem to be stopping either.
