'Horrible Bosses 2' John Francis Daley And Jonathan Goldstein Penning Sequel?

Bateman, Day, And Sudeikis Get More Horrible

Horrible or not, it's happening.

This summer's surprising workplace blockbuster "Horrible Bosses," which grossed $209 million worldwide, is back for more. According to The Hollywood Reporter, screenwriters John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have begun work on the script for a sequel.

While the studio is still in early talks as to whether or not Seth Gorden will direct the second film, employees Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis and and their angry employers Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, and Kevin Spacey are expected to appear in it.

Viewers may be giddy at the prospect of the cast getting back together again, but critics won't likely be as excited. "I say kill off everybody else and bring back Farrell for the sequel," Boston Globe critic Ty Burr said back in July. Then again, the film earned a solid 69% positive on Rotten Tomatoes.

"Bosses" isn't Daley and Goldstein's only project together; the duo also wrote New Line's "Burt Wonderstone," starring Steve Carrell and Jim Carrey, and a sequel to "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs," both set to be released in 2013.
