<em>Texas Monthly</em> On The John Friend Anusara Yoga Scandal

Texas Monthly just published their in-depth look into the scandal surrounding John Friend, founder of Anusara -- a school of yoga that he turned into a major global brand over 15 years. After a curious and large-scale exodus of more than 30 teachers from his practice late last year, allegations started to emerge. A former employee created a website, JFExposed.com, that listed the accusations: Friend was allegedly sending inappropriate sexual material to students, conducting an affair with a married woman and mistreating employees by freezing their pensions without their knowledge.
