John Goodman Watches His 1980 Foot Locker Commercial

It's become a staple of late night television for celebrities to have to face footage of themselves from the archives that they either forgot existed, or perhaps wished they could forget. On "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," it was John Goodman's turn, and he had possibly the best reaction to this new talk show trend.

The footage was from a Foot Locker commercial dating back to 1980 that featured Goodman in his slimmer days. Once he picked up his jaw, he seemed absolutely delighted at the walk down memory lane.

Goodman is taking another trip down memory lane with his latest project -- he's returning to his comedy roots. Goodman has signed on to star in "Alpha House," a new comedy sitcom commissioned by Amazon Studios for air on their Amazon Prime platform. Goodman will play one of four senators who rent and share a house in Washington, DC.

Catch "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" every weeknight at 12:37 a.m. EST on NBC.
