John Mellencamp filed for divorce from model wife Elaine on Jan. 14 in Nashville, Ind.'s Brown County -- not far from their Lake Monroe home.
No hearing date has been set in the case, and neither Mellencamp lawyer could be reached for comment. No other information was readily available.
