Watch Jon Stewart's Laugh Lines Emerge In 'Daily Show' Time-Lapse Video

Being the leader of the free world can age a man, as we've seen with President Barack Obama. But so can hosting a comedy news program for more than 16 years.

A new time-lapse video pays tribute to Jon Stewart's many years at the helm of "The Daily Show."

"This is my send off to his profound impact as host," the video's creator, Billy Chasen, wrote in the YouTube description.

Stewart, now 52, began hosting "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central in January 1999 after Craig Kilborn left. His last episode will air on Aug. 6.
