MISSING TWINS: Children Last Seen With 73-Year-Old Caretaker

UPDATE: The Alabama Bureau of Investigation has confirmed that Jordan and Taylor Dejerinett and their caretaker, Jack Girdner, all last seen on Sunday, have been been found dead in Lowndes County. Authorities named Deandra Marquis Lee, 22, as a person of interest and are calling the case a triple homicide. Lee is considered armed and dangerous.

ORIGINAL STORY: Authorities in Alabama believe that missing twin nine-year-olds may be with a 73-year-old family friend, who also can't be found.

The state's Department of Public Safety issued a missing children's alert on Sunday for Jordan and Taylor Dejerinett, last seen Jack Girdner near the town of Hope Hull.

Terry Moore, the twins' mother, is pleading for the twins' safe return.

"I just wanna know what happened. Wherever my children are, the family is pulling for you and we're here waiting for you to come back ... safe return all in one piece and I love 'em," Moore reportedly said, according to CBS.

A white 1988 Mercedes 560 SEL belonging to Girdner, who authorities describe as a "caregiver," is also missing, according to WBRC.

Jordan Dejerinett is 4 feet 1 inch tall with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and shorts.

Taylor Dejerinett is 4 feet 2 inches tall with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a blue and white jump suit.
