Kaley Cuoco Says Relationship With Husband Ryan Sweeting Wasn't 'Slutty,' Just 'Quite Fast'

Kaley Cuoco Defends Her Relationship, Says It Wasn't 'Slutty'

Kaley Cuoco doesn't want you to judge her for jumping into marriage.

The "Big Bang Theory" star stopped by "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Monday night (Feb. 24), to talk about her relationship with new husband Ryan Sweeting.

The actress explained that the two met on a blind date and fell for one another pretty quickly. "He moved in the next day," Cuoco joked.

However, it doesn't seem like Cuoco was really kidding. She explained to Letterman how her first date with Sweeting happened while he was in town for a short stint … then he never left. "It sounds so slutty, but it wasn't," Cuoco said in defense of her speedy courtship.

"It all did move quite fast on paper, but we really did know," she explained.

The couple got engaged just three months after they began dating, then walked down the aisle on New Year's Eve as part of an elaborate party to ring in 2014.

Cuoco and Sweeting attempted to keep their wedding plans a secret, but Cuoco wasn't the best at hiding her excitement. Apparently, she leaked the news to a number of people -- from her manicurist to gas station attendants.

Cuoco confessed, "There'd be all these articles, and my husband would be like, 'How does everyone know we're getting married?' And I'd be like, 'I do not know. I do not know.'"

It doesn't seem to have caused too big of a rift in their plans, as the couple said their vows and have been enjoying wedded life.
