Kanye West Happily Signs Fan's Air Yeezy Sneakers Even Though They Are Fake (VIDEO)

WATCH: Kanye West Signs Fake Air Yeezys

We're well aware that Kanye West isn't too fond of aggressive paparazzi or overzealous fans.

So when the 36-year-old rapper stepped out of a building in Paris on Tuesday and was confronted by flashing lights and a fan wanting him to sign a pair of Nike Air Yeezy 2 Red October sneakers, we thought Kanye would shoot everyone a death stare and hop into his car.

But to our surprise, Kanye actually stopped (while smiling) and signed the sneakers. Gasp! He must be in a good mood considering it's only a few days before his wedding to Kim Kardashian.

The only problem? The sneakers were fake -- a fact that Kanye shared with his fan and was conveniently captured on Instagram.

"These are not real, though. You know that, right?," Kanye said."These are not real. It's fine, though."

We're not sure what gave away the footwear's inauthenticity, but Kanye designed them so zeroing in on the flaw only took a second. The fan responded by saying he was heartbroken.

But let's face it, he still got an autograph and shared a semi non-aggressive moment with Kanye. Let's just hope he didn't pay $16.3 million for them.
