'Keeping Up With The Kardashians': Khloe Gets Some Bad News From A Fertility Doctor (VIDEO)

Khloe Gets Bad News From Fertility Doctor On 'Kardashians'

Khloe and Lamar have been open about their desire to have children together, but it hasn't happened yet for the couple. With her sister Kourtney expecting a second child on the show -- though she's since had her second child off-camera -- it's become more and more difficult for Khloe. And so, on this week's episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," she agreed to go with her sister Kim to a fertility specialist.

Kim is considering freezing her eggs, and got nothing but good news from the doctor. She may be in her 30s now, he told her, but everything is just fine. The news wasn't as good for Khloe, and it went a long way towards explaining why she hasn't been able to get pregnant.

According to the doctor, Khloe didn't ovulate in the most recent month, and no ovulation means no chance of conception. The Stir wrote that they admired Khloe for being so open with this personal and painful problem in her life, and they hoped that her fertility issues would be treatable.

Buddy TV thought the news was heartbreaking, writing that "Khloe and Lamar are constantly above the other Kardashians' pettiness. Out of all the family, these two are the ones who should be having kids."

The story is to be continued, so tune in next Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on E! as Khloe breaks the news to Lamar and they decide what to do next.

Correction: An earlier version of this post incorrectly referred to Kourtney Kardashian as Khloe's younger sister. Kourtney Kardashian is in fact the oldest of the Kardashian sisters.
