Katie Holmes' Valentine's Day Plans Involves Chocolate, Spa Trip

Since moving to New York following her split from Tom Cruise last summer, Katie Holmes and daughter Suri have been regularly spotted enjoying sweet treats. And it sounds as if the "Dawson's Creek" star, 34, has some indulgences planned for the mother-daughter duo this Valentine's Day.

When E! News chatted with Holmes at the Godiva boutique at New York's Rockefeller Center Thursday, she revealed that she would treat her 6-year-old to "lots of chocolate and probably some stuffed animals," adding that she "never really met a piece of chocolate I didn't like."

"We have a lot of good plans—we're gonna do some cooking classes, gonna go to the spa," Holmes told E! of her first V-Day without Cruise. "I know, it's gonna be a tough weekend."

Holmes seems to be adjusting well to life in NYC, and has no plans to leave Manhattan. "This is her home,” Katie’s publicist recently told The Huffington Post.

“She knows all the cool spots to eat, meet friends or hang out. She's become a real-life version of Carrie Bradshaw as far as her love affair with the city,” a pal added.
