On Saturday, the actress shared a post on social media in which she alleges Songz ignored her wish to not be included in the video and accused him of using “sexual intimidation.”
“This is preposterous,” she wrote in an Instagram caption. “How am I in this video Trey? After you found me in a closet HIDING because I was so afraid of anymore conflict. Literally my last option was to hide because you all would not listen when I said I did not want to be in the video the FIRST time. Just cause you give someone food and alcohol and throw in a little sexual intimidation doesn’t mean they will buckle.”
The 23-year-old actress said she was “secretly filmed” for the video, which shows her for a brief moment sitting on the couch using her phone as MikexAngel says, “I palm her p***y like Keke / Like Keke, like Keke.”
She referenced a few of her previous Instagram posts, in which she called out the entertainment industry’s sexism and misogyny.
“This is the sexism and misogyny I refer to because if I was a dude, he wouldn’t have even tried me like this,” she wrote. “Let this be a lesson to all, I’m not for the bullshit. I’m serious about my business and you will not use my likeness without MY permission. When you in front of a boss you treat them like one, like I treat YOU. NO MEANS NO!!!!!!!”
Following her initial post, Palmer shared two videos in which she described the alleged secret filming, which she said happened at a party hosted by Songz. She also responded to a couple of people on Twitter, reiterating her story.
Later that night, Songz seemingly responded to the accusations with a few tweets. Though he didn’t use her name, it appears he was referring to Palmer, claiming, “Babygirl buggin. Point blank period. Got my number, coulda called, saw the cameras and the lights, heard action.”
Neither party has commented further, but The Huffington Post has reached out to representatives for Palmer and Songz, and will update this post accordingly.
