You might not give bread much thought, but we do. We think about bread a lot. Sourdough, challah, no-knead, even nine-grain -- we're into it. Bread is the thankless workhorse of many of our meals. Sandwiches would not be possible without bread. There would be no French toast for breakfast. (Stop and reflect on that last sentence. Without bread, there would be no French toast!)
Aside from being uber-important, bread's got another trick up its sleeve. It knows how to get cute. That's right, bread can be shaped to look like teddy bears, baby birds, tiny turtles and more. You can't really compete with a teddy bear that you can eat.
