Kids Try Brussels Sprouts, Actually Like Them A Whole Lot

This Is What Happens When Kids Try Brussels Sprouts

Do all kids really loathe eating vegetables? A group of children are bucking the stereotype this week as they discover a previously unknown love of the oft-maligned nutrient powerhouse: the brussels sprout.

When YouTube’s the Fine Brothers first presented the kids with a platter of the leafy vegetable as part of their “Kids React” series, most of the children expressed some skepticism. “Every kid’s worst nightmare,” one boy declared. “They smell, like, gross,” added one the girls.

But once they actually tried the veggie for themselves, most of their attitudes shifted dramatically.

“Mmm, it’s good,” said a boy named Lucas. “Can I eat the whole thing?”
