Many women's first reaction to the word "ruffles" is "ewww." We remember wearing them as kids (or coming home and and being chastised for rolling around in the mud in our pretty dresses), donning them to our quinceañera parties, proms and then eventually to our weddings. But wearing ruffles in a day-to-day atmosphere? Thanks, but save it for little girls and the celebrities on the red carpet.
