Kim Kardashian, Jessica Biel & More Stars Wear Ruffled Dresses, And We Can Too (PHOTOS)

Ruffles Can Be Worn In Your Everyday Life, We Promise

Many women's first reaction to the word "ruffles" is "ewww." We remember wearing them as kids (or coming home and and being chastised for rolling around in the mud in our pretty dresses), donning them to our quinceañera parties, proms and then eventually to our weddings. But wearing ruffles in a day-to-day atmosphere? Thanks, but save it for little girls and the celebrities on the red carpet.

Or not. Recently we saw Olivia Palermo out and about in a leather ruffled skirt that had us reconsidering our stance on the frilly details. She paired her leather ruffled skirt with a casual grey sweatshirt and heels, and her look read feminine, sexy and sort of "I just threw this together." Oh, and that trend that we are seeing everywhere -- the peplum -- is actually a strategically placed, yet subtle ruffle at the waist.

We've rounded up 11 photos of stars wearing ruffles, along with tips on how to wear the pretty frills in daily life, without feeling like you're headed to a Bar Mitzvah.
