Kim Richards Credits 'Real Housewives' For Her Sobriety

Kim Richards opened up about her battle with alcoholism -- which played out on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" -- during her appearance on "Watch What Happens: Live." In fact, she credited the show for her sobriety. Kim is celebrating two years sober this Christmas.

“I feel like I have a lot of people that are holding me accountable and it’s helping me a lot," Kim said. "I love doing this show and I love all the people, and I love when I walk down the street and people come up to me and say, ‘Because of you, today I am sober. Thank you so much.’"

As Wetpaint's Ryan Gajewski pointed out, fans of the "Housewives" wondered if Kim's "wacky moments" would end after she got sober, but they needn't have worried. "Thankfully, she’s as hilarious as ever," he wrote. "Case in point: Kim has done everything this season from accidentally falling out of her chair while reenacting Lisa’s faint, to calling Yolanda Foster’s face ‘icky.’ Yep, the Kim we know and love is still here!”

Kim Richards can be seen on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo. "Watch What Happens: Live" airs every Sunday through Thursday at 11 p.m. EST on Bravo.
