'Where In The World Is Matt Lauer?': Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Is 2011 Day 3 Location (VIDEO)

WATCH: Where In The World Is Matt Lauer? Day 3 Location Revealed

Wednesday marked day 3 of Matt Lauer's comeback tour for his "Where In The World Is Matt Lauer" feature.

Lauer surprised his fellow "Today" hosts when he skied down a sand dune in Namibia on Monday. Lauer changed his itinerary due to weather issues and landed in Madrid on Tuesday. So, where was he on Wednesday?

Lauer's third clue read "It may seem unlucky, but we've moved ahead without you as we take an 'L' to welcome you to this bridge over dry land."

Al Roker guessed Lauer's location correctly, which made him the first "Today" host to do so all week. Once again, Natalie Morales was very close to guessing the correct answer.

Lauer reported from the sky bridge connecting the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The sky bridge stood more than 500 feet above the air. Lauer said his location was "very cool," and watched a man open a coconut with his index finger.
