Ben Roethlisberger has already won two Lombardi Trophies and is making his third career Super Bowl appearance on Sunday. He is also 10-2 in the playoffs and is part of one of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history. So is Big Ben a Hall of Famer already?
The former Arizona Cardinal told 620 KTAR in Phoenix that if Roethlisberger wins Super Bowl 45, he still isn't sure if "that classifies him as one of the best to ever play the game."
"I mean, he won a Super Bowl and he was 8-23. But he won the Super Bowl and he gets that on his resume. But he was still 8-23," Warner said, referring to Roethlisberger's performance in Super Bowl 40 against the Seattle Seahawks. In that game, he went 9-for-21, threw for 123 yards and two interceptions.
In Super Bowl 43 against Warner's Cardinals, Big Ben went 21-for-30, threw for 256 yards and completed the game-winning touchdown pass to Santonio Holmes.
Warner also said that he doesn't think winning championships alone makes a player a Hall of Famer.

I'm just waiting to see Ben as the guy that carries his team at some point in time. The fortunate thing for him is he hasn't had to do that. He carries them in the last two minutes. He makes some key plays. (He's) phenomenal out of the pocket and ad-libbing. But for me, if you go to the Hall of Fame, you have to be a guy who can carry your team week in and week out as a quarterback. That's my opinion.
