When actress and comedienne Kym Whitley adopted her son Joshua, she became a single mom overnight. While her close friend Rodney Van Johnson stepped in to help her parent, Kym finds out that when it comes to her love life, three's a crowd.
In the above clip from the new season of "Raising Whitley," Kym has an old friend visit from out of town. "I've been seeing Mike on and off for the past few years," she says. "If he lived in L.A., we'd be together. He's fun, we have a good time, he's not insecure."
While Kym is perfectly happy with this arrangement, Rodney is not. He tells Kym he thinks she's sending 2-year-old Joshua the wrong message.
"Have you all knocked boots before?" Rodney asks. "Y'all be intimate? Shared relations? Did the nasty?"
"That's none of your business," Kym says.
While Rodney presses on, Kym cuts him off.
"You are Joshua's daddy, you're not my daddy," she says.
"Raising Whitley" airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET on OWN.
