Larry Hagman On 'I Get That A Lot': 'Dallas' Star Pranks Shoppers In Posthumous Appearance (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)

WATCH: Larry Hagman Posthumous's Appearance On 'I Get That A Lot'

While the entertainment industry is still reeling from the loss of pop culture icon Larry Hagman, fans will have a chance to see the "Dallas" star on the CBS special "I Get That A Lot," which features celebrities attempting to prank ordinary people by pretending to be somebody else.

Above, HuffPost TV has an exclusive clip of Hagman's posthumous appearance on the special (Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS). Hagman's segment was shot in September 2012 at a Santa Clara, California membership warehouse shopping club, where he posed as a salesman offering shoppers free samples -- although as you'll see in the clip, the star might've been a little too iconic to fool some targets.

“Larry was amazing to work with,” said Executive Producer Eric Schotz in a statement. “I think what people didn't know about Larry Hagman is that he was a prankster at heart. He loved the fact that he could interact with his fans and the fans' reactions when they found out it was him are priceless.”

Other celebrity participants include “The Amazing Race’s” Phil Keoghan working at an outdoor gear and apparel retailer, Olympian and Kardashian patriarch Bruce Jenner selling shoes in a high-end boutique, actress Jane Seymour working as an inept home goods store greeter, actor and comedian Cheech Marin behind the counter at a party supply store and racing superstar Jeff Gordon selling automotive supplies.

"I Get That A Lot" airs Wednesday, January 9 at 8 p.m. ET CBS. Season 2 of "Dallas" returns
