Maybe this was her idea of attorney-client privilege.

A lawyer was disbarred for allegedly having sexual relationships with those she defended and using illegal drugs, the Florida Bar announced.

Linda Dawn Hadad of Daytona Beach also had "inappropriate intimate relationships with inmates at the Volusia County jail" and "engaged in inappropriate phone calls," the bar noted in a press release.

In addition, Hadad, 43, was late to court appearances, neglected cases and closed her office without informing clients, the bar said.

According to bar documents cited by WFTV, she made personal visits to two inmates at the Volusia County jail and had phone sex with them as well.

In those papers, WFTV said, Hadad admitted to taking several drugs, including Xanax and Oxycodone, without a prescription and also used crack, ecstasy and meth. She is also accused of renting a car for a man who repaid her in crack and pills, the station reported.

Before her official disbarment was announced on Friday, Hadad had a checkered past. In 2015 she was arrested on four separate occasions in Volusia County, accused of offenses ranging from driving with a suspended license, to attempting to flee police, to petty theft, records show. In 2010 she was arrested on a DUI charge.
