LeBron James Is 'Jealous' Of Kevin Durant

LeBron Reveals Which NBA Player Makes Him 'Jealous'

LeBrom James should be the envy of players across the NBA but there is at least one rival who apparently makes him jealous: Kevin Durant. King James may have more NBA titles and MVP awards than Durant during his career but he doesn't have as many shot attempts this season.

"I get jealous sometimes when I look over at KD and he's like 16-for-32 (from the field) and then 14-for-34," James told Tom Haberstroh of ESPN.com earlier this week.

With All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook missing time this season due to injuries, Durant has averaged the third most field goal attempts per game in the league (19.4) and the second most field goal attempts total (739) this season. LeBron is ranked 18th in both categories, but is shooting 59.1 percent from the field.

"I'm not much of a forced-shot guy," James told Haberstroh. "But there are games where I have it going, and then at the end of the game, I'm like, damn, I shot just 12-for-16? Why don't I get up at least six or seven more? I definitely notice it."

Durant might shoot and score more often than James, but he'd presumably trade those stats for some of things that James has on his resume:

  • Two NBA titles
  • Four MVP awards
  • Four NBA Finals appearances
  • Two NBA Finals MVPs
