Levi Johnston Refused To Meet With Bristol Palin Because Of Reality Show, Sunny Oglesby Says

Why Levi Johnston Refused To Meet With Bristol

Levi Johnston's refusal to take ex-girlfriend Bristol Palin's calls or meet with her in person was recently played out on Palin's new Lifetime show, "Life's A Tripp." But according to his new girlfriend, Johnston had good reason to be so elusive.

According to Sunny Oglesby, who's currently pregnant with Johnston's second child, Johnston refused to answer Palin's calls in order to avoid becoming big a focus of her reality show, RumorFix reports. Oglesby said Johnston's manager warned him not to answer when Palin called, because "she just wants to argue and fight on camera for her reality show."

Johnston and Palin have had a tumultuous relationship since breaking up in July 2010. At that time, Palin slammed Johnston, claiming he was "obsessed with the limelight." Johnston fired back in 2011 with In The Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs, a tell-all book that depicted a dysfunctional Palin family and portayed Bristol as desperate to get pregnant.

Palin's reality show has struggled since it debuted June 19. After just two weeks' of airtime, the show was bumped from its 10 p.m. slot on Lifetime to be replaced by reruns of "Dance Moms."

Palin's mother, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, had much better luck in the reality TV realm. The debut of her 2010 show "Sarah Palin's Alaska" drew 5 million viewers on TLC.
