Did you miss out on Coachella tickets during the three hours they were on sale before selling out hard two weeks ago? Don't fret. There is another music festival happening in Southern California this spring. It's a bit more intimate and, if you live in L.A., a lot closer to home.

Enter Lightning in a Bottle, the annual music and arts festival from the creative crew at the L.A.-based event production outfit The DoLaB. Combining a lineup of largely electronic musical acts with myriad art installations and forward thinking lectures and workshops, Lightning in a Bottle is as much a lesson in consciousness as it is a music festival. That is to say, you'll dance a lot and likely learn a few things too.

Although this year's lineup will not be announced for another month or so, tickets are currently on sale through the festival's website. Lightening in a Bottle's organizers report that the first tier of tickets sold out in "record time" after going on sale last Monday morning, and the three day festival sold out completely last year, so be cool and act fast.

Lightning in a Bottle 2012 will go down in Silverado, California this Memorial Day weekend, May 24-28. Mark your calendar, then check the festival's teaser video below.
