Who: Elton John & Leon Russell
What: The Union Tour
Where: Jenkins Arena - Lakeland, FL
When: Sunday, Nov.21st, 2010
Why: A very musical evening awaits you and one I highly recommend. The night begins with a separate set from the legendary Leon Russell with some of his best known songs. Elton then joins Leon on stage to showcase their new album "The Union," performed in its entirety with standout songs such as "If It Wasn't for Bad", "Gone to Shiloh", "I Should Have Sent Flowers" and "In The Hands Of Angels". The concert ends with Elton doing some of his best known songs and showcasing his remarkable piano skills. A memorable show.

Who: Phoenix
What: Phoenix 2010
Where: A Confirmar - Buenos Aires, Argentina
When: Sunday, Nov.28th, 2010
Why: This impressive band, originally from the suburbs of Paris, has been everywhere over the past two years. They're fifth studio album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, was released in May 2009 and the foursome has been touring the globe ever since, including their recent sold out performance at the Hollywood Bowl. At the show you're guaranteed to hear some songs you'll recognize like their hit "1901" used in the Cadillac SRX campaign and "Lisztomania" from Alice in Wonderland trailers and the Entourage finale. Beyond that, be prepared to hear some catchy indie rock tunes that you've never heard before. Also don't be surprised to see lead singer, Thomas Mars, stroll past you in the crowd with the mic during the show... he tends to do that.

Who: The Rescues
What: Hotel Cafe Residency
Where: Hotel Cafe - Hollywood, CA
When: Monday, Nov.29th, 2010
Why: A new band that deserves your attention. With their major label debut album featuring four fine musician/vocalists, they put on a very good live show, demonstrating both complex harmonies and catchy songs. Highlights include "Let Loose The Horses", "Break Me Out" and "Can't Stand The Rain". It's not surprising that their two female lead singers create a sound that is reminscent of Fleetwood Mac. Good band, go see them.
