Bill Maher: 'White People Vote For White People Like It's Going Out Of Style' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Maher Issues Stern Warning To White People

One of the major takeaways from this election was watching, in real time, the Republican party learn that if they want to stay relevant, they simply must recognize that their base of white males just won't translate to victories anymore. And Bill Maher, on his own "Real Time," found this pretty amusing.

"White people vote for white people like it's going out of style," Maher said during the New Rules segment at the end of his first post-election episode. "And like most things white people do, it's going out of style."

In other words, Maher quipped that Republicans have "the same problem as the Beach Boys: Their fans are dying."

Check out the full New Rules clip above, if for no other reason, to see Samuel L. Jackson bask in the fact that he apparently woke some people up with his viral video encouraging people to wake up and vote Obama.
