Police in Tully, Australia, are hot on the trail of a 50-something fugitive who allegedly busted a karaoke machine with a shovel.
The suspect showed up at a karaoke party around midnight and smashed the machine several times before leaving, Cairns.com.au reported.
The pop song-hating party pooper is described as a Caucasian man in his 50s, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches, with blond and grey hair and a moustache.
It is unknown what song was playing during his karaoke rampage, but police are still combing the area in hopes of bringing him to justice, Cairns.com.au reported in a follow-up.
This is not the first time that karaoke brought out the worst in a person.
In September, 2012, two men in China were hacked to death with a meat cleaver after allegedly criticizing a father for letting his toddler son hog the microphone.
In July, 2012, William Henry Oller Sr. was ordered to stand trial for allegedly shooting his 50-year-old son, William Carr Oller Jr., for singing a karaoke version of a Kenny Chesney song.
In March, 2012, Jeffrey Thompson, 28, was charged with battery and disorderly conduct after employees at an Applebee's in Melbourne, Fla., cut him off when he started stripping while he was singing karaoke.
In December, 2011, Isiah Johnson, 20, allegedly started throwing punches in a Sandusky, Ohio, club after patrons started booing.
