Maria Alleyne Paid To Have 'Hex' Placed On Her Son's Prosecutors, Feds Say

The mother of an alleged drug trafficker tried to protect her son from the law by traveling to Africa to commission a shaman to place a 'hex' on the two federal prosecutors handling the case, The New York Post reports.

Maria Alleyne confessed to making the trip out of concern for her son Victor Bourne, a former Kennedy Airport baggage handler, busted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents for running a drug trafficking ring.

“Alleyne later admitted ... that she had traveled to Africa to pay an individual to place a ‘hex’ in the form of a witch doctor’s curse on the assistant U.S. attorneys,” officials said in a court filing, according to the New York Post.

Photographs found in Alleyne's possession first led authorities with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to believe that she was coordinating an assassination, but further investigation revealed Alleyne's voodoo plot.

Alleyne, who already faces allegations tred money generated by her son's reported criminal activity, will not be charged for her attempted curse.
