With 3.8 seconds left in overtime and Georgia leading No. 21 Missouri by four, Bulldogs head coach Mark Fox became overcome with emotions and started crying on the bench. It was Georgia's first game since the death of Fox's father Raymond Lewis Fox, who passed away on Saturday at age 78.

During the final seconds, some of the Georgia players went over to their coach and hugged him. In the locker room, "For Ray Fox" was written on a whiteboard.

“No question he’s why I got into coaching,” Fox said after the game, per the Kansas City Star. "I was blessed to have him as a dad."

Shortly after the game, Fox thanked fans for their support on Twitter.
