"Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger better watch out -- there's a new love guru, Siggy Flicker, in town and she's not afraid to call out the original matchmaker.
"No, Patty isn't even in my league. Let's talk about something else. Sorry, I didn't mean that in a negative way," Siggy tells me. "I was married to a beautiful man, two beautiful kids, after nine years of marriage, guess what? I'm not faking passion, I'm not faking chemistry, and I was not faking orgasms anymore. I said [to my ex-husband], 'Mark, we're going to get divorced without an attorney, class and dignity."
And now Siggy is bringing the lessons she has learned to VH1 with her own show, "Why Am I Still Single?!" that doesn't require you to be a millionaire to find love.
"Anybody can be a matchmaker. Anybody can match. What I like to do is just a little bit different. I want to know what your dating issues are," Siggy explains "If you have dating issues, what's the point of matching you and sending you out there, and you're still talking about your nine cats who had dinner, and you want to know why you can't get a second date. So, the whole premise of the show is I put two people on a test date together. They don't know that I'm watching behind closed doors. So, when I see a client of mine telling a date that the doctor just upped her Prozac from 20mg to 40mg, that's a no-no."
So what are Siggy's top pieces of advice? No sex, no politics, no what position do you like in the sack on the first date and certainly no Patti.
