Matt Harvey's incredible rookie season seems to be going as impressively off the field as it is on the mound.
The New York Mets' 24-year-old ace was photographed attending a Rangers playoff game on Thursday night with supermodel Anne Vyalitsyna, who readers of the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue may better know simply as Anne V. According to an US Weekly report on Friday, the high-profile pair are dating.
"They are taking things slow due to both their busy schedules but Matt seems to like her a lot," an unnamed source told Us Weekly.
While neither has made any public statements regarding their relationship, both were making no secret about their presence at Game 4 of the NHL playoff series between the Rangers and the Bruins.
Based on a brief exchange on Twitter earlier this month, Madison Square Garden and the Rangers seem to have played a key role in the couple's introduction. After attending a Rangers game earlier this month, Harvey tweeted about encountering "the beautiful @AnneV." in the elevator on his way out of MSG. She responded to the tweet and apparently a match was made.
In one of the two photographs of the Matt and Anne at the game, Met second baseman Daniel Murphy can be seen with them. He does not seem to have a supermodel with him.
