Matt Taibbi: ‘Commenting On Paul Carr Is Completely Beneath My Dignity'

Journalist Matt Taibbi doesn’t entertain the haters.

PandoDaily's editorial director Paul Carr published a piece last week -- ironically titled “Everybody Sucks, Except Matt Taibbi” -- in which he attacks all things Taibbi and accuses him of "the most grotesque hypocrisy imaginable."

Taibbi himself is basically unfazed by Carr, which he made clear during a conversation with HuffPost Live's Alyona Minkovski. After discussing his searing article revealing a massive JPMorgan Chase cover-up, the writer also responded to Carr's insults. Well, sort of.

"Commenting on Paul Carr is completely beneath my dignity, I’m sorry," Taibbi said. "He’s absurd. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He’s been consistently wrong about everything that he’s been reporting on, and, you know, that’s really all I can say about that."
