Meghan McCain: John McCain Is 'Such A Badass'

Meghan McCain made no secret of how she feels about her father, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.)

In a Monday interview with CNN's "Piers Morgan Live," McCain was asked what it's like being the daughter of the senator. She had nothing but positives to say.

"I know nobody likes this answer," McCain said. "People would much prefer if we had this turbulent relationship. But he's very supportive, we talk every day and I dunno, I think he's such a badass."

"He's certainly the badass," Morgan chuckled.

This was not the first instance of McCain calling her dad a badass. Back in May, she tweeted how proud she was of his trip to Syria, saying he is "one of the last remaining badasses around."

Along with that praise, McCain also stressed Monday how they can disagree on things like politics, telling Morgan there were "obvious differences" in their outlooks on life. Her comments come nearly two months after she revealed how he felt about one past gig.

"He did not love when I worked at MSNBC," she said in July, adding that he was a "great champion" of her new Pivot TV show, "Raising McCain."
