Here's What Meredith Vieira Thinks Of The Changes On 'The View'

Meredith Vieira appeared on Tuesday's "Good Morning America," and shared her thoughts about the changes on "The View."

"That show has been around for so many years, and I think as long as the chemistry works, it's going to be great," Vieira told "GMA" host George Stephanopoulos about her former show.

She also commented on the return of Rosie O'Donnell as a host, saying, "She came in after me so I never had the opportunity [to work with her]. I think it's going to be fabulous."

Vieira was one of the original co-hosts on "The View" nearly two decades ago. In addition to bringing O'Donnell back, the show is set to announce two new co-hosts for its next season starting in September, and has also snagged Bill Wolff, Rachel Maddow's former executive producer, to helm it.

"I feel like I'm sort of getting my wind and I feel good about it," she said. "I'm still nervous about it, but it's fun."

The television journalist will tape from 30 Rockefeller Center, the home of her former show "Today." She has previously talked about her set, which is modeled after her living room at home, and she will have a live house band.
