Thought you’d get a reprieve from drinks dedicated to mythical creatures? Guess again.

A Starbucks barista in Essexville, Michigan, is wowing the Internet with a beverage dedicated to mermaids.

Jocelyn Freeman says her so-called “Mermaid Frappuccino” is actually a Pokemon Go Frappuccino without raspberry syrup that is drizzled with a sauce made from toasted coconut matcha.

Freeman created the fishy Frapp in a pinch when her location ran out of the ingredients for the Unicorn Frappuccino, according to Mashable.com

“We have tons of people coming in for [the Unicorn] even after two weeks,” Freeman told HuffPost. “I actually really liked the Unicorn because it was so sour! But it was super sweet, so I couldn’t finish one. This drink is sweet and it tastes like blackberry ice cream! Hits the spot with this warmer weather we have been having.”

She said the recipe for the drink is as follows:

  • Make the drizzle by mixing eight pumps of white mocha with three pumps of toasted coconut and three heaping scoops of matcha in a pitcher until smooth.
  • Pour into gravity bottle.
  • Then make a Pokémon Go Frappuccino without raspberry syrup.
  • Drizzle the cup and top with whipped cream and matcha powder.
  • Enjoy!

Unlike the Unicorn Frappuccino, the “Mermaid” drink isn’t official, so you may have to explain it to a barista a few times.

Still, the end result is getting rave reviews from at least one Starbucks aficionado.

StarbucksMelody.com, a blog dedicated to the coffee giant, describes the “Mermaid Frappuccino” as “a great idea for stores that are looking for a ‘barista creation’ to show off.”

The review says: “This is really good! Lots of berry flavor with a fun look and sweetness from the drizzle.”

This drink is just the tip of the mythical drink iced drink iceberg. Refinery 29 points out there are also beverages dedicated to the Pink Pegasus Frappuccino and the Dragon Frappuccino.
