Mike Bibby Ejected From Son's Phoenix Shadow Mountain High School Basketball Game (VIDEO)

WATCH: Mike Bibby Ejected From Son's Basketball Game

Mike Bibby was ejected three times during his 14-year career in the NBA. Bibby is no longer on an NBA team, but he managed to record another ejection last Friday night at his son's high school basketball game.

Bibby attended the Phoenix Shadow Mountain boy's basketball game, his alma mater, on Friday to watch his son Michael play. As first reported by ABC 15 in Arizona, Bibby got into an argument with the referees and was eventually escorted out of the gym by a police officer.

As Bibby walked out, with a smile on his face, the crowd gave him a standing ovation.

"I think the ref had a little ego problem before the game started. I kind of got on him early in the game and he told the police to watch me, or whatever," Bibby explained on Monday's Doug and Wolf Show on Arizona Sports 620, via ArizonaSports.com. "I was just sitting there and I told him, 'that was a bad angle, number 23 wasn't in the play, ref' and he just pointed to the police and the police came and got me. It was like he wanted to kick me out, I don't know why. I wasn't going to argue with the police, but apparently that's all it took."

After the ejection, Shadow Mountain lost to Sunnyslope 60-42.
