Mike Tyson On Luis Suarez Biting: 'It Happens'

'It Happens'

Shortly after Luis Suarez bit an opponent during a match for the second time in four years, the Liverpool star gained a follower on Twitter who provided perhaps the most memorable bite in sports history, Mike Tyson.

The former boxing champ joined The David Glenn show in North Carolina on Monday and talked about why he started following Suarez on Twitter.

"I just sort of got on this Twitter thing and said this guy is an interesting guy so let me just follow him, check him out, see what his journey’s all about," Tyson said. "He bit somebody. You know, it happens. You know what I mean? I'm sure he made amends with his guy. I made amends with Evander and we're going on with our lives."

Suarez, who served a seven-game suspension for his first bite in 2010, apologized for sinking his teeth into Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic on Twitter.
