Miley Cyrus Has No Squad Goals Because She Likes 'Real People'

Miley Cyrus is on a roll.

First, she -- as BET put it -- "basically called Nicki Minaj an angry black woman." Now, the New York Times published a new article including a remark Miley made about Taylor Swift's squad of friends, which could definitely be misconstrued.

While a pop star like Taylor Swift may be gathering “musicians, actresses, models, entrepreneurs,” she said, “I’m not trying to be in the squad.” She continued, “None of my friends are famous and not because of any other reason than I just like real people who are living real lives, because I’m inspired by them.”

You might think Cyrus didn't learn her lesson after getting called out by Minaj in the middle of the VMAs on Sunday, but it seems the 22-year-old made all these comments to the New York Times during an interview a week before the award show.

Seems she really didn't want to be a part of the squad ...
