Missing Wedding Ring: Wendell Shaw's Wedding Band Stolen From His Grave

WATCH: The Creepy Place A Wedding Ring Was Stolen From

An Inglewood, Calif. woman was shocked to discover that her late husband's wedding band had reportedly gone missing from a locked memorial on Father's Day, reports KTLA.

Cynthia Shaw told the news station that she believes the ring was stolen. She filed a police report after she and her teenage son noticed the ring was gone on Sunday.

"I don't care how badly you need money, there's some things that just shouldn't be desecrated," Shaw told KTLA. Her husband, Wendell, died two years ago of a heart attack at age 53.

Though Shaw isn't hopeful that the ring will be returned, others have been lucky. Earlier this month, a wedding band stolen from an Oklahoma couple's home was returned and the suspect was reportedly arrested. Social networking also helped a woman reconnect with her lost engagement ring in New York City on June 8.
