'Mobbed': Fire Chief Meets Daughter's Organ Recipient

A man named Andy Millen was at the center of the first of two back-to-back special installments of Howie Mandel's flash mob series "Mobbed." The 75-year-old fire chief from Ohio was honored by his daughter, Missy, with a special surprise. He may not be a well-known celebrity to her, but he's a "hero" to her and many others -- and one in particular that night.

While he'd saved countless lives throughout his years with the fire department, he was still haunted by the one life he couldn't save: Missy's sister, Dee Dee. She died in a car accident in 1991, but that wasn't the end of her story. Dee Dee was an organ donor, and a transplant 21 years ago saved the life of another woman. For the first time, Andy was introduced to that woman, Lea.

"It’s an unbelievable feeling to have someone come up and say thank you for the gift of life," he said of their meeting. "It gives us a lot of satisfaction to know that we made the right choice with Dee Dee. She’s up there watching down on us right now and enjoying every minute of it."

The special January "Mobbed" event continues with two more installments on Thursday, January 3 and one more on January 10, starting at 8 p.m. EST on both nights on Fox.
