8 NBA Draft Picks Tell Us The First Thing They're Going To Buy

These guys just got a major pay raise.

On Thursday, the NBA's latest draft picks said goodbye to their college budgets and said hello to their new lives as money-making NBA players.

That led us to wonder what these 19-, 20- and 21-year-olds planned to first buy when they get their paychecks. So we caught up with a few of them and asked at the NBA Draft, which was held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Myles Turner, drafted 11th overall by the Indiana Pacers, told The Huffington Post that he'll probably buy some new shoes, adding he needs to "step up" his footwear game. Jerian Grant, who's headed to New York to play with the Knicks, said he hasn't quite thought about what he'll do with his new dough.

Check out the video above to see what Karl-Anthony Towns, D'Angelo Russell, Jahlil Okafor, Justise Winslow, Cameron Payne, and Willie Cauley-Stein have added to their shopping lists. (Hint: some of these guys really like dogs).
