New Orleans Anti-British Ad: Tourism Board Uses BP's Money To Mock Brits

You stay classy, New Orleans: The city's tourism board is taking the roughly $4.4 to $14.9 million BP gave to the town for oil spill compensation and turned it into a snide anti-British rant, according to the UK's Telegraph.

The ad, which has since been pulled (obviously), eludes to the ass-whipping defeat Andrew Jackson gave the invading British Army during the 1814-1814 Battle of New Orleans. The doctored photo features a tilted statue of Jackson with the words: "This isn't the first time New Orleans has survived the British."

What describes this best: pathetic? Awesome? You decide.
