No Action Take By Michigan Supreme Court On Duggan Residency Case

Duggan Waits For Michigan Supreme Court

The Michigan Supreme Court acknowledged Friday morning that it had received a filing from Detroit mayoral candidate Tom Barrow on whether rival candidate Mike Duggan violated the City Charter's residency requirements but said it had taken no action on whether to take the case.

Earlier Friday, Barrow's campaign claimed the state Supreme Court would hear arguments on Duggan's residency issue -- a situation that could end Duggan's bid to be on the August primary ballot.
