House Representatives Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL27) and Alan Lowenthal (D-CA47) released an inspiring video last week, urging those in Congress to take part in the "NOH8 On The Hill" photo shoot that will bring visibility and establish solidarity among pro-LGBT politicians in Washington.
Taking place in conjunction with Adam Bouska's "NOH8 Campaign," the "NOH8 On The Hill" project has occurred in the past on more than one occasion.
Notably, Ros-Lehtinen was the first Republican to take part in the "NOH8 On The Hill Campaign" in the series' third installment last June. The pair hope to further bridge the bipartisan gap and gain the participation of other Republican members of Congress this time around.
The "NOH8 On The Hill" campaign was initially organized by Lowenthal as a freshman congressman. Ros-Lehtinen notes in the above video that over 100 members of congress have teamed up with the "NOH8 Campaign" over the course of the three different shoots.
