President Barack Obama begins his second term with an inaugural address in front of thousands in the nation's capital.

Obama speaks just after he is publicly sworn in to office by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. Events following his speech include performances by Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce, the signing of the official documents and a parade to the White House.
