Dear Music Festival Gods,
Please bring Bonnaroo to Florida.
Please deliver us a music festival in Florida that IS NOT called Ultra or Electric Daisy.
Deliver us a place where tens of thousands can gather under the Florida sun.
Don't make it crowded or overwhelming, but intimate and enchanting.
Deliver us a to place where we can check our worries at the gate and surrender to the flow for a few days. A place that isn't douchy like Coachella.
A place where you will never ever ever see more beautiful people.
Please Music Festival Gods, deliver us to a beautiful shady grove with the grass littered with pine cones and fairy dust and the spirit of youth. Where hammocks hang from trees and LED lights explode like electric spiders across the night sky. Give us another grove to explore during the day, with a beach and access to a pond to wade in, so we can play games and float around on giant floaties.
And make the cops cool with little to no arrests.
Maybe cap the attendance at 30,000 so we're not overwhelmed.
Maybe bring in artists that run the gamut of genre and taste. A place with Kendrick Lamar, Robert Plant, Bassnectar, Mumford and Sons, Skrillix, the Avett Brothers, Kamasi Washington, George Porter, Jr., Miguel, Run the Jewels, and many more.
And please, Music Festival Gods, support local artists, organizers, musicians , producers and media from Miami, Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville.
Make us feel a part of this experience.
Please and thank you, Music Festival Gods.
If you deliver us this oasis, we will show our eternal devotion.
We will take good care of each other in a sweet way like honey.
Oh, and one more thing, Music Festival Gods,
Can you maybe throw in a Superjam?
Dear Music Festival Lover,
Okechobbee Music Festival
