Oklahoma Election Results 2012 MAP: Presidential Winner For The Sooner State (REAL-TIME DATA)

LOOK: Oklahoma Election Results MAP

This is where you can find the results of the 2012 presidential election for the state of Oklahoma.

The Sooner State is a Republican stronghold, showing little to no sign of going blue in the near future. In fact, the state has voted Republican in nine of the last 10 elections, only selecting a Democrat the first time Jimmy Carter was on the ballot.

In 2008, not a single voting district in Oklahoma went to President Barack Obama, and GOP candidate John McCain was less than a percentage point away from capturing two-thirds of the state's votes.

Oklahomans will also decide on Election Day whether or not to abolish some of the state's affirmative action laws. According to the Associated Press, while proponents of the ballot measure say the law is outdated and unnecessary, opponents feel that the continued persistence of sexism and racism warrant an affirmative action law.
