On Sunday We Go to Vote. And You?

Because this time it's different. Because the crisis showed us that a problem in Greece can shake a whole continent. Because the Italian spread has been felt in Berlin and Paris. Because -- whether we like it or not -- Italy alone is too fragile to face the challenges of the 21st century.

Because this time it's different. Because the crisis showed us that a problem in Greece can shake a whole continent. Because the Italian spread has been felt in Berlin and Paris. Because -- whether we like it or not -- Italy alone is too fragile to face the challenges of the 21st century: migratory flows, climate change, world finance or commercial relationships with USA, China or Brazil.

Only together can we be stronger. Together we are the wealthiest continent and the biggest market of the world: our voice can count, but only united. For this reason we need strong and democratic European institutions.

Because this time it's different.

Electing who represents us in the European Parliament, for the very first time, we indirectly choose the next President of the European Commission, the man (or the woman) who will have the huge responsibility to give the direction we want to our continent.

Because this is not a vote in favor or against Europe, but a vote to choose the Europe we want. And because if we don't vote, we won't be able to say that we don't like this Europe, that we want a better one. If we don't go to vote, we don't have the right to complain.

Even Facebook and Google understood it: your vote is important. We know it's said during every election, but this time is really different.

Take action!

There are many ways to convince the people around you. You need just a click to share a "Happy" video about European elections, to send a balloon to show that you are a voter, or to invite people to our event "Election night".

You can simply click on the button "I've voted" on the Facebook app to tell your friends that you went to vote!

What about the results?

The marathon has already started! But the results will be available only from Sunday at 11 p.m., when the last polling station -- Italy, indeed -- will close. Then, you'll be able to check all the results updated live on our website.

To follow the exit polls, the turnout, the electoral projections and all the news coming from all around Europe, you can follow this Tumblr.

If you are interested to know more about the activity on Twitter of the candidates to the Presidency of the European Commission, check the Dashboard.

Because this time it's different. Express yourself using the official hashtag of the European elections #EP2014.

Are you ready? We are. This week-end we can choose the Europe we want!
