Notably successful businesswoman Patti Stanger sat down with OK! magazine to answer some reader questions, submitted via Twitter, and it turned out to be the most candid the "Millionaire Matchmaker" has gotten in a while.
"My biggest regret is that I didn't have children," Stanger said in reply to one Twitter user's question. "I had an abortion in my 20s. I was pregnant and I didn't have enough money and I didn't think it was okay to have a child and be a single parent. Now, look, everyone's doing that."
Stanger added: "I didn't find the right guy at the right time to have one with, I guess. But I don't think I would adopt and be single. I would have eventually found a guy, settled down, got the picket fence. I just didn't meet person at the right time, I wasn't that lucky, like a lot of other people."
The 52-year-old ended a seven-year relationship with real-estate executive Andy Friedman in 2010. She is now in a relationship with former baseball player turned mortgage broker David Krause, notes the Daily Mail, and has been since March 2012. In March 2013 the Bravo star told "Good Morning America" that she and Krause are not engaged, but said, "I have a promise ring ... A promise ring to me means a commitment. However, at the same time I have the freedom to take my time to consider marriage."
