Who's The Latest Of TV's New 'Mistresses'?

Look who's trading black and white Oscar-winning films for the small screen!

According to EW, Penelope Ann Miller has joined the cast of ABC's "Mistresses" as Sam’s (Erik Stocklin) mother, a woman who has no idea her late husband had an affair with another woman, played by Yunjin Kim.

Based on the BBC One series of the same name, "Mistresses" centers on four women with turbulent love lives. The series is headed to ABC next summer.

In other casting news...

Kat Foster is headed to Fox. The "Til Death" vet has landed a series regular role on "Goodwin Games." Foster will replace Felisha Terrell, who was let go after the pilot was ordered to series, in the role of Lucinda. [TVLine]

"Californication" star Jason Beghe has been cast in "Chicago Fire." Beghe will recur on the NBC drama as Detective Hank Voight, a dangerous and feared gang unit cop. [THR]

Polly Walker has landed a recurring role on "The Mentalist."
The "Rome" actress is set to play the fierce, quick-witted FBI agent Alexa Shultz on the CBS police procedural. [TVLine]

"Ex-Men" has cast its lead.
"Paranormal Activity" actor Chris Smith will play a young guy who gets advice from a group of more experienced guys while living with them in a short-term rental in the CBS comedy. [THR]
